Global Village BBS is a project born in the University of Innsbruck, in Austria, and now hosted in Vienna, Austria.

Technically, this BBS lives in a computer running a server connected to the Internet 24 hours a day, to allow everyone to be connected anywhere from the world. This BBS is running on a Intel(R) Celeron(R) M 1.5GHz under Linux.
